Since Christmas I've noticed an increase in the number of potholes on the roads as I drive around (not just Birmingham but everywhere!).  The worst one at the moment has to be the junction of Coleys Lane and Abbeydale Road - such that I have stopped driving over that section of road.  Last week in a company vehicle, I drove over an unavoidable pot hole (I knew it was there - but the roadway was reduced due to parked vehicles) at a crawl, and ended up with a flat tyre  Angry  After driving back over to Hall Green at 5:45pm to get a new one fitted, the garage replaced the front tyres too as they were partly damaged  Undecided  I know I drive our vehicle alongside railway lines on pretty rough ground, but to have 3 x tyres replaced - thank goodness it wasn't my private car.  If you notice any potholes in Birmingham, please use the attached link to the Council to report them - I've just spent the last 20 minutes doing several - moan over  Roll Eyes

Totall agree with you on this, I too am fed up of having to replace tyres....Coleys Lane is very bad at the moment, but has been reported and they have now marked the road ready to repair. Also I've notice that a lot of roads have had repairs and within a year they have potholes back  Shocked The worst area I have found is around the Lickeys, heading towards Little Heath Garden Centre, those potholes are really big and very difficult to see as they are full of leaves  Angry

That junction of Coleys Lane/Abbeydale Rd is terrible, I very rarely drive that way because of it.

The worst road I can think of at the moment is Selly Oak road, especially as you approach the girls school from either direction, the whole of the surface is just disappearing!

It's frustrating trying to avoid them because often when trying to avoid one, you end up in another...

I've just clicked on the link to report another couple of potholes and it said the link wasn't available (but took me to BCC website), so here is the new link :

Hope that works  Smiley

The Norman Rd one was filled in ages ago.
The one on the Bristol Rd I reported on 25th Nov, does seem to have been filled, but I'm hoping that it's a temporary emergency filling, as it's not exactly a very smooth job!  Tongue
